PROCESS OF JEWELRY MARKING
Jewelry making is a very composite process undergoing a long and slow procedure making.
Most of jewelrys are process by hand, especially the personalized jewelrys. Each of them is unique and involves a lot of time and skills.
Starts off with a concept. Then convert the idea into brief sketch by designers. From color and styling to materials selection, designers have to decide base on wide variety of concerns. It usually reflects the style of the designer. Craftsmans deliver the complete design sketch to the moulding section. Moulders turn the CAD modeling into a wax mould by high technology machine and then modify the fine details by hand. Skill and patience are required to carve the wax to accurate dimensions, size and form of the final piece.
Jewelrys casting is a very complex process that it requires high casting skills and experienced casters to reach the desired structure and appearance. In the molding department, the professional molders turns the drawing into a silver sculpture according to the vistual design by hand. The final outcome is rests on the master mold.
Once the master piece of jewellery is complete, it is used to makes a high technology mold, which in turn to uses for Wax Reproductions of the Jewellery.
The rough casting comes out with a rough texture from the cooling of the molten metal. Complex design jewellery have to separate into several segments for fabricate accurate structure with delicate details. Jewelers cut off sprues, then use files, gravers, and rotary grinding tools to adjust the shape and surface of each casting before the separated segments integrate into a finished item.
Decorative processes. The finish casting is ready for more precise details like stone setting and engraving. The required decorative stones of the correct sizes and weight are cut with extreme preciseness which assorted for the final setting. It requires patience and skills to produce a perfect jewellery.
Now the rough casting is cut, filed, sanded, and polished to the completed form of the product..
Once the stone setting is complete, it brings up to the final polishing. The polishers are credit worthy for giving the jewelleries shine. Every parts must be polished while the mount is being made. It requires patient to make polishing clean carefully by using high speed wheels. The products in this step are ultimate finish.
Rhodium plating is a metal deposition process used to coat materials with a decorative and protective layer of jewelrys. It provides a surface that will resist scratches and tarnish, and give a bright white, reflective appearanc to jewelleries.
Finally, all jewelrys pass to Quality Checking Department for quality and safety inspection. Every piece goes through extensive quality control to ensure the precision and craftsmanship before shipment.
